At our January meeting, our member Lisa Steincke shared her practice and extensive experience in creating beautiful repeat patterns from small carved printing blocks. She showed how these can be used on fabric and paper to produce lovely pieces, including how a range of different patterns can be created by varying the arrangement of the blocks. Lisa even brought along some stamps so we could all have a go, generating a lot of enthusiasm amongst members to try their hand at this technique!
