Since embracing the exciting art medium of printmaking, I completed the Red Hot Press Diploma in Southampton and became a Cowprint Artists’ Group member in 2019. Originally graduating and working as a graphic designer, I also have qualifications in ceramics and sculpture.

My work is quite bold, often using a silhouette or simplified view, as I like to produce a strong image. I find myself drawn to cultural subjects, the human form, water and animals. I’ve recently been working on a series of ethnic heads and ancient hand-built pottery. The use of colour and texture is always an important part of my work and I love the endless possibilities that printmaking brings enabling me to experiment and add interest to my artworks.

My work has been exhibited at St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery in Lymington, Southampton City Art Gallery, God’s House Tower Arts and Heritage Venue in Southampton and Sir Harold Hillier Gardens Gallery in Romsey, Hampshire.
