Su Eaton is a printmaker, illustrator, and musician, and has woven a creative way through life, channelling various whimsical ideas through various media. She has worked with many forms of printmaking, and is currently working mainly with collagraph. Her work is rooted in sketching and drawing, but enjoys combining this with natural forms such as seeds and leaves, as well as decorative textures.  She is inspired by moments and memories, and the patterns and peacefulness of the natural world – particularly in The New Forest where she lives.
She trained in Fine Art Printmaking at Exeter College of Art, graduating in 1978, and has been a freelance artist, designer, performer and children’s workshop leader since 1983.
She has also illustrated books for children and adults for Hamish Hamilton, Blackie, Harper Collins, Hodder & Stoughton and The History Press.
Su has had solo and group exhibitions since graduation, and continues to exhibit her work regularly, including at Hillier Gardens, Hampshire Open Studios, Winchester Print Fair, and Chalk’s Gallery in Lymington.
